About Jumbo Jack's Cookbooks

THE BEGINNING

Jumbo Jack's Cookbooks printed its first fundraising cookbook in 1980. The owners of the local newspaper were approached by a nearby community to produce a centennial cookbook for their upcoming celebration. Primarily working on the project throughout the evenings, the owner printed the cookbook on his only press and bound and delivered it to the customer.

THE TURNING POINT

The initial decision was that they would not attempt this again. A month passed and the owners were approached by an organization in California about doing a cookbook for them. The owners realized with proper staffing they could do one cookbook per month. They also decided that if they were going to get into this business, they would do it the right way. After much research, a fundraising cookbook program was developed that had the customers' best interests in mind: no money down, flexible terms, the ability to make the book their own and great customer service.

Jumbo Jack's has since grown into a national cookbook printing professional. We are one of the largest privately owned companies in Iowa. Jumbo Jack's has done an array of projects including: community cookbooks, keepsake cookbooks, school cookbook fundraisers, church cookbook fundraisers, nursing home cookbooks, state fair cookbooks, county fair cookbooks, personalized cookbooks, agendas, school planners and so many more!
